Thanksgiving in Blue Ridge

I had such a great Thanksgiving and mommy says I have so much to be thankful for! Well, I know I am very thankful for candy!

The first night or two I kept asking when we were going home. We never really slept at any of our friends' house in NC. But, when it was time to go home, I wanted to stay. We got there late Wednesday night, but not too late to open presents! I go this opening thing down baby and boy did I rack up!

Thursday was a day of good eating and playing in the woods. We also enjoyed hunting for sticks, the fire outside, and roasting marshmallows. I enjoyed running around the deck with Zo. Jackson and I had fun playing together too.

Friday morning, I had Old Ma Ma's beignets for the first time and I really REALLY liked em! We took a drive to Blue Ridge to see what we were missing. After strolling down the streets and exploring the area, we decided to eat at a restaurant along the Toccoa River. I liked watching the river, but not as much as the yummy candy stick we grabbed on the way out!

Jax and I did some gingerbread decorating and I must say we did better than the people who built it. By the end of the night, our gingerbread house had quite the skylight going on!

Saturday, we played a lot outside because the weather was warmer. I kept Jackson company while he relaxed in the hot tub and brought him ice upon request.

Uncle Brett was my buddy--is that the term for someone who will do whatever I want? Yeah so I liked hanging with him! We must have gone up and down the steps I'd say 300 times, and we played pool. Of course, I won right? He also took me on walks to look for animals.

We had such a great time taking in the scenery while catching up with family. What a wonderful trip!
