Gingerbread Cookies

I helped make gingerbread cookies for the holiday season. Unfortunately, I don't think we can pass them out to our neighbors and friends. Yeah, I was THAT helpful.

I started off by stirring the butter and eggs together. I could do this guys really I could, but Mommy insisted on having a turn. Who's the kid now?

My favorite Christmas song came on while I was mixing and realized unlike mommy, I can do two things at once! I can't think of anything more fun than mixing and dancing.

Next I poured in the cookie mix and got to work again!

My favorite part was rolling the dough. Of course, I had to check and make sure the dough was ready...I enjoyed making fingerprints in the dough and rolling them away with the pin. It was about this time that mommy and daddy realized we would have a lot of gingerbread cookies to eat all by ourselves!

It is important to keep the surface and dough dry using just the right amount of flour. As you can see, I'm a natural...

Are they done yet?

I'm hoping we get to decorating them soon before it is too late!
