Spring is here!

The weather has been so nice the last couple of days!

Mom had an Easter egg theme going on last week to get all of us ready for the egg hunt. We took apart and put together plastic eggs and had trial run egg hunts. Here Peyton and I are catching on pretty quickly. It's every tot for themselves!

We also used the eggs to do some stamp painting. All of mommy's preschool teaching days sure have paid off for me.

Thursday was my bestest buddy Peyt's first birthday. We made a special snack together to celebrate. I am a pretty good pudding chef. Mom let me use the cup from my tea set pour in the milk.

(Little side note: I have been working hard on my role playing skills making up specialties in Mia's kitchen for mommy, daddy, Zoey, the cats, and even my baby doll to sample. Hey, if I have to "taste" everything they put on my plate, they have to taste my cooking darnit!)

Anyway...I did well pouring and stirring up the pudding.

I didn't however do so well waiting for my next turn!

Notice the pouting face close up. Yeah, I can really turn it on when I want to!

Saturday was the big day of the Easter egg hunt and all that practice was worth it! I found all kinda cool stuff. I liked watching the Easter bunny, but wasn't getting too close to him. After a while, I let Peyton have my basket...being his birthday and all. We also got to hit the pinata. Daddy helped me give it a wack and of course I wanted it to be my turn forever!

The rest of the outing was spent going up and down steps and roads with inclines. That has been my favorite activity lately.

I gave mommy and daddy a shock while playing with my foam puzzle today. I usually pop the letters out and mommy or daddy place them for me to push them back in. I guess they have left me alone with my puzzle too many times because I got this... no really guys, I got this!

Oh, camera is nuts so it is muted. It's a shame too because I made a couple of the letter sounds after mommy said them. We are working on buying a new cam even though this one is not even a year old....UGH!

Scooping skills...
