----Eating...I finally have teeth. YAY!!!! The first weekend of June at 8 months old, I finally got a tooth. And do you know the other one popped up right next to it a week later. I am loving this whole solid food thing! I am eating cooked veggies and soft fruit. I love cheerios and crackers. If I can gum it, I'll eat it! Don't even get me started on ice cream....
This is me trying a chicken salad sandwich Ms. Kendria gave me :)
--- I am finding every way to move except crawling on my knees. That's right. I love to use my feet, pull with my arms, and even turn around and around to get going. I have crawled a couple of times, but I have decided crawling is for the birds. I am going into to research like my daddy and am coming up with all the other alternative ways to move.
---I have found the power of music everybody! It really moves me!! It all started with a little rocking while sitting up and now I rock in just about every position! I even like to throw my arms in every once in a while. That really gets the parents going! I tell you, I dance much better than those guys!
I was shaking my groove thang for the camera while showing off my new dress Mimi made for me!
June has been a pretty big month for me so far. I was able to show daddy just how much I love him for his first Father's Day.
I had fun dressing up like daddy at my school. Eating the test tubes were the best. He is still wondering why his data results are still messed up...

Daddy is my official bath buddy and I must say he does a pretty darn good job. He is a little relaxed with all that face and behind the ears business and I dig that!
Here is a pic on Father's Day of us and after bath time!
I had water play for the first time at my school. I sported my sexy bikini and conservative sun hat. Check out my rolls and my tummy! I think I am still learning what it is all about. I like splashing for sure, but I think I still have some learning to do.
Here I am soaking up some sun and coming back from a stroll at school.
Lila was a little happy to see me!
Yesterday we went to the museum in Raleigh with Mommy's class. I held my own with those toddlers and had a blast exploring EVERYTHING!
So what's next for me?
Well our last week of school is this week. I am very excited about staying home with mommy, but I will miss all my friends and teachers at school. I will miss all my First Environments "mommies" and "grandmas" who come and get me to hang out. They are actually throwing me a good-bye party in my class and I heard there will be yummy desserts. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ice cream!!!
Hopefully mom will figure out how to get her video camera recordings on the computer so you can see me in action!
