March came in like a lion for me. A big mean lion with a horrible virus. I have had ear infections and colds before, but this "thing" gave me a run for my money. Lots of diapers and unflavored Pedialyte got me through it.


It's been raining on and off for a week and it takes forever for our yard to dry up.

Mickey Mouse Playhouse is the best show in the world. It was on twenty four seven when I was sick. Now, mommy and daddy have to wean me off of watching it all the time. I couldn't believe Peyton had all my favorite friends from the show on his shirt. He didn't even realize how lucky he was!



We really amazed mommy last week... Mommy brought out the books to read to us during circle time. She forgot her camera and left us to grab it. When she came back, she saw a beautiful thing...


We are becoming so independent...and learning how to do SSR already. You know, silent sustained reading. Okay, well they did that in mommy's third grade class when she was a teacher.

Mommy is so quick to jump in and show us new cool things or how to use a toy. We also learn when she takes a step back and lets us go.


I had so much fun at the NCAA tournament. I was definitely rooting for the tigers to win. I hung in there like a real tiger trooper. I love the LSU Tiger girls! Even at my most tired moments, I would sit up to watch them dance. I'd rather watch them dance than the game and Mike the tiger. What can I say? It's in my blood!

I love pancakes...

I could literally eat pancakes until I can't move. They are the reason I get up in the morning! Just look how happy I am!

Did you notice something missing? That's right. I sit at the table just like mommy and daddy with my own plate. I do really well except when those tantrums come to haunt me. (Like when I don't get more pancakes!) I have been using a spoon to eat yogurt and oatmeal all by myself. I also practice those skills while playing in my sand table. I'll get mommy on that so you can see me in action.

This past week has been cold, then rainy, then nice but the backyard was still wet. So we had to come up with extra activities to get us through the day.
Like putting the Playhut in a new position.



I poopied in the potty guys!
Everyone knows I like to sit on the potty. Well, it is very obvious when I have to go to, uh uh, "the bathroom." Mommy asks me if I want to go to the potty and I sit briefly. Well, this time she took my diaper off and I think I completely surprised myself! Mommy doesn't expect it to happen again and we have not had a second occurrence. I'll keep ya posted.

What is the big deal?


This past weekend was beautiful! I went to museum with Nicole and Tyler and had a blast. One of Tyler's buddies Jara and her mommy Nancy came too.

Happy Mardi Gras!

While most of you reading this had the day off today, I was busy doing what I do best. I did wear my festive shirt Mimi made me and danced to Mardi Gras music





Mommy has noticed that giving me more responsibilities around the house has helped with my tantrums. Lately, one of the things I like to do is gather my diaper and changing pad (getting too big for the changing station) and once my diaper is changed, I bring it to the trash.


Tea anyone? How bout yogurt?

Silly night

I was hamming it up for the camera tonight! Animal sounds, dancing, building towers... At times, you can even tell I know the camera is on me and it was my time to shine!

Daddy taught me the sounds of the dog, cat, and cow during bath time. This is usually when I agree to talk since I have banned talking lately. Here I am showing them off.

(Notice my "ruff" sounds like "buff", my meow must be at a high pitched level, and I'm sorta missing the "oo" from my "moo")

Making a tower...
Usually I lose my mind if I cannot make my tower stand nice and tall. Yes, the tantrums have surfaced and even I have this look on my face after they are done like "What just happened here?"
But, I was on my best behavior for the camera.


Mommy always sings "If You're Happy and You Know it" during circle time and I love it. I also like to help Peyton and Camden do the motions. I also help Mommy and Daddy whether they need it or not. I'm such a big helper and goofball!


All the single ladies...

Last weekend, I had a belly full of pizza and was on my way home to take the best nap in the world. I looked like I wasn't going to make it. Then all of a sudden the Beyonce song came on and the inner dancer in me could not help but shake my head, clap my hands, and enjoy the tune. That night I hung out with the Harrell's while Mommy and Daddy went out to eat for Valentine's Day. They took us out for custard. Jessica explained how I was getting upset until a song came on and I reacted the same way as in the car. Guess what song it was?

Now, I like to watch the video on the computer and get excited when I hear it. Not nearly as excited as before.
