Happy Birthday to me!

I had such a wonderful birthday! My fiesta got rained out, but we still had fun listening to stories, dancing with shakers, and pulling strings of the pinata. There were so many friends that came out to celebrate, I could barely contain myself! Mommy was a little worried about how she would fit 30 people in our house and garage, but it all worked out. I was the only girl toddler playing with four other boys! My cactus cake was pretty awesome, but I didn't really like everyone singing to me!

The next day, I opened all my presents and got all kinda good stuff.





Monday was the big day! Mommy and Daddy took my best pal Peyton and me to my favorite park to slide.





After, we ate at my favorite restaurant, Bandito's. You can see below just how much I love it!





Peyton, Camden, Mommy, and I also made cupcakes for my birthday. YUM!








Potsey and KK sent me flowers on my big day and I am so used to the sound...."Mmm" connecting with yummy food.


I am expanding my dancing moves and enjoy calling them out and performing them!


I have become very interested in drawing circles and have gotten pretty darn good at it. Just today, I am beginning to draw facial features. I ask mommy to draw a circle on the doodle pad and then I add the features. Hope you can make out the eyes, nose, and ears. Sorry, Mommy can't get it to flip for ya.



I can also identify and spell the words BAM, DOG, MOM, and HI. Mommy and Daddy are quite impressed.

Disney

I had such a blast in Disney! All the fries I could possibly eat, stayed up late, and all my favorite characters.
One of my favorite pics would be the parades. I loved watching Mickey and Daisy, but at a distance. They also came and went very quickly and were dancing too!
My all time favorite was the Playhouse Disney show. We went twice! Here are some videos of me getting down.







I also liked listening to a mariachi band at the Mexico pavilion.

I actually decided to do some shopping of my own and picked out the stain remover we use at home. With the amount of stains I'm leaving on my clothes, I think it is time for a new bottle...





I have found my new favorite clothing store...Hollister. Not because of the over priced clothing, but the music!

I like to kick too...sorry you can barely hear me, but I have fun saying the alphabet.

I went to pick blueberries and it was slim pickings. But, I still managed to have fun picking and sampling.

After working hard, we stopped at McDonalds and I got my own water. I have connected McDonalds with fries and request fries anytime I hear or see those golden arches.


Although I worked very hard picking berries, I still had energy to spare to help daddy.

When Daddy gives me a bath he used to tell me to look at the light when rinsing my hair so it would keep the water outta my eyes. So I was sure to remind Mommy when I rinsed her hair...

Silly girl...

Have I got some videos for you! I am getting to the age where I like certain things A LOT! It's no surprise that I love to dance. Well, my moves have become a little more...involved to say the least. I have learned how to jump but can only do it if I think about it REALLY really hard. Mommy is still working on getting that on video. But here I am on various occasions getting down!





I guess because of my love for dance and my awesome rhythm, I am enjoying music and gross motor time more and more...

I like to make my animals and babies dance too...


Mommy did a beautiful thing with the scarves. She tied them together. Pate and I or Mommy and I carry them around the house during music and shake them to the beat. Very VERY cool.


I am beginning to put a little pep in my step lately. I now like to gallop when moving to places. It's so cute!


I'm getting to be one smart cookie. I know all the letters of the alphabet besides C and G. I can also spell the word STOP if given the letters. It started with the stop signs on our walks and went on from there. I am beginning to associate words with the beginning letter. When I see the letter M I say Mama and the letter D, Dada. I also say "quack" with Q and "laugh" with L. Here I am finding some letters.


I am beginning to see basic shapes in everyday objects in books or on walks. The sun is a circle, star in starfish, square in truck. Even today, I was walking around the pathway outside of Moe's (YUM!) and located various sized circles in the lights on the ground and also the pot holes.




Mommy is letting me do more on my own during art and I'm enjoying it much better. I am doing pretty good following the steps of water coloring on my own and dipping brushes and objects in paint by myself.




Having breakfast with daddy...


Daddy was in charge last weekend while he did some work in the kitchen. I love when it's just me and Daddy! This time, I got to play with the microwave!


Having fun with packaging stuff...


My favorite book of the time is Go, Dog Go! It is a fairly long book and does not really have a set story line so it drives Mommy and Daddy crazy. But, I love it so much, they can't resist. It also helps that dogs are stopping and going at the light signals, colors, and of course DOGS!

Here I am goofing off before mommy reads it. I have done this since I was a little tot and it still gets cuter every time. (At least that is what they tell me!) I don't know what is funnier: Peyton trying his hardest to be patient for the story to start or me being a goofball!



Mommy cannot believe I can make those noises and concentrate on the story at the same time!
